This series of five novels follows the life of a great and powerful wizard’s son, Levi Jacobs, as he grows from a teenage boy with almost no control over his magic to a wizard of great power and reputation, that masters the secrets of time travel.

Throughout his life, he faces many dread obstacles, including an insane troll swordswoman and her army, monsters from myth and legend, such as the literal monster from under his own childhood bed, time travelers bent on killing his father in the past, a dangerous necromancer that commands a crew of goblin sea pirates, rock monsters from his world’s normally invisible moon and a master of luck manipulation. He even takes a perilous journey through the Greek Underworld, to speak with The Fates.

This book bundle releases on April 11, 2025, but the entirety of the first novel, titled Troll Song, is already free to download and read as a demo, of sorts.

Troll Song tells the tale of an unusual troll girl, named Lyra.

She learns early on, by comparing her life to that of a dwarf, her family are neither healthy nor particularly good and seeks to escape them. Troll Song covers her perilous journey to freedom, which starts with Lyra killing her oldest sister, because the woman is irredeemably evil and uses their middle sister like a weapon she can point in a particular direction.

This leads to the middle sister, Nicole, giving chase, absolutely obsessed with catching and punishing Lyra for her betrayal, while Lyra runs to the arctic, to make sure her sister never gets her clutches on a powerful, ancient weapon.

In their seemingly-final battle, Lyra drops a glacier on their heads, in an attempt to end the troll menace once and for all, leaving the conflict on ice for two-thousand years.

That’s when Lyra meets Levi, who frees her from the ice and becomes her first modern friend. Unfortunately, Nicole is also freed and she steals a star ship, seeking to use it as a platform for her revenge…
